If finances, education and location were not an issue, what would you do for a living? Would you keep your exisitng career? SAHM's, would you go back to what you used to do? Or would you try something completly different?
For me, a dream of mine would be to own/operate my own winery. I would love to tend to all the grapevines, understand the science behind creating the wine, the social luxury of friends and guest enjoying my wine. Just the idea of having all that space and freedom....ahh, seems like heaven to me.

I want to run a summer camp. I was assistant director of a camp for many years. I want my own camp and I want to run it my way. The best summers of my life were all spent at camp.
I really love my current job- working on curriculum. I'd love to continue working part time but possibly work at the district level (with many schools instead of just one) to do trainings and curriculum work.
My long term goal is teaching teacher-ed part time at the college level (probably community college)
Most people don't believe me, but I would love to work part time (like 12 to 20 hours a week) and SAH the rest of the time. I love raising my kid, and wish I could be raising a bunch more.
I think it would be fun to be a naturalist on a tour boat. Maybe a whale-watching boat. Maybe one that involved diving, but was not just a dive boat, but a boat where people came to learn about marine life but then also went diving. I think I would get bored after awhile but it would be really fun for a bit.

ME TOO.
I'd love to work part time (making millions, lol) working in an elementary school with kids, so, like a ParaPro I guess. And then have more kids and be able to be at home with them

I never went to a summer camp. As a kid, a lot of TV shows I watched had kids that went to camp in it and it always made me so jealous. As a kid, I longed of going to summer camp. Finances always got in the way.

You stole my answer!! DH and I want to buy his old camp and grow old there together.
I like my current job (web developer) but is rather do it for only 20-30hours a week and not have my 2 hour round trip commute. And for this, get twice the salary.
If money were absolutely no concern there are other things I'd rather do. Maybe have a bakery cafe where I sell homemade goods.

I don't know what kind of web development you do, but DH is a web developer person and works from home. Have you looked into jobs where you could do that to get rid of your commute? There aren't a ton of them, but he knows of several companies who allow it, his company is 100% work from home.

I do not do well working from home. As evidenced by today's working from home... Ha.
i need the structure of an office...
also the big problem is that I love my company and the people I work with soi don't want to leave. My boss is so understanding and flexible. And I'm up to 28 days off this year (they cap it at 35 I think, one extra each year) soooo I may work here forever lol
also what I really need is my brain back from 2011 before the process of mush brain began. Lol

I would run my own Jewish sleep-away camp. It be the most amazing place ever with the best resources and facilities but not 15k a summer. It would be open to all Jews, no matter their ability to pay. We would run yearly trips to Israel and have an exchange program with impoverished Israeli and European Jews.
Basically, I would try to replicate my old Jew camp that had to close because of effing Bernie Madoff- may he end up in hell. He stole the YM-YWHA's investments and lost everything. The camp served a lot of recent Russian immigrants who lived in financially depressed Jewish communities in and around NYC. It also had a very successful and prominent exchange program with Israel and Europe.
Sadly, it had to close 3 years ago. The camp's facilities were not the best because it was not for profit so they couldn't lure the more financially successful families. It was surrounded by resort type camps and could not compete.
I would run a not for profit organization in Avery's name to help people who have lost a child. I would spend all my time organizing celebrity golf tournaments and galas for fund raising and Ellen Degeneres would partner with me because she is awesome and we would be best friends and drink wine on her show.

I like that idea! I would move to family property that is kind of in the country and revitalize it. I tell people that I want raise bees, but really I would do something like what you do.
And/or, I would be a fine art photographer and work on getting my masters in fine art. I would hire a mother's helper, or a nanny.

I'd move to the coast, open up a small cafe, close by 2 so I could enjoy the sun and evenings with my family.
I think I have changed my mind. This is my dream too. The cafe can be dog-friendly. lol
We love going to this place. It was tradition to take our dog each year for her Bday but her Bday is 5 days before D's so we missed it 2 years in a row. We may have had her 1st Birthday there with 3 other dogs and there may have been favor bags.

If money wasn't a factor and I had a nicer house I would teach crunchy child birth classes. A woman from my class quit her job to do this and it is a slow struggle of a start building her business. I live a mile from my instructor who dominates the local market. She probably makes close to what I make teaching 3 2hour classes a week in her home.
