I'm right there with you. I had my first double digit run last week and it did not go well. Trying again on Sunday. Hoping for better results. Good luck.

I can't speak from experience on that distance, but don't let yourself create a mental block that you can't complete it due to a bad run before, or because it is a milestone. Just like in c25k when new runners accomplish that 20 minute run it is mostly mental. Perhaps over 9 miles your body needs some kind of fuel? You can get through this!
Ugh, 10 on a treadmill sounds brutal. Are you doing it outside this attempt? I'm sure it'll go much better. If your body can do 9, it can do 10 a week later. You just have to decide you're going to and execute. It's easier when there are other things to look at and think about outside than just watching the 0.1 miles add up.
I agree, it is mostly mental at this point. If you did 9 a week ago, you can do 10 today, it just might suck and be hard, because lets face it, running can sometimes suck, and it is always hard! Know you can do it, and when you want to give up, just keep going. You can take walk breaks, you aren't a failure if you do!

You can do this. When I'm nervous about a distance I break it up. 3 miles warning up legs, then 4 more ( you can run 4 more) then after that its only three little miles to bust out to the finish!!!. You can do this. Break it up into segments in your head. :-) smaller chunks are easier to get thru! GOOD LUCK YOU'LL BE GREAT!
You can absolutely run 10 if you did 9 last week. You are going to feel so great when you're finished. I still remember my first double digit run and how awesome I felt about myself when I was finished, even though it was 8 years ago! Are you going to try outside this time? An out and back route is nice for a 10 miler, and once you're out the 5 miles... there is only one way back! Good luck, you will do great.
I also break it up, but I generally break it up into 1 mile at a time. Just focus on getting to the next mile marker. Then before you know it you are half way done and then only a 5K left and then 1 mile left!
I agree 100% that it's all mental. My longest run to date is 8 miles and all week I was dreading it. I ended up breaking the miles up in my head by doing two miles up and back going one direction then another two and back going another direction. At the end of it, I felt great and felt like I could keep running. So I truly think it's all mental and if you can somehow break up your route, that'll help too.
I'm sure you can do 10, no problem. But have you tried to do it on the weekend? I've been doing long runs pretty consistently for two years and I still have problems with double digits during the week.
I will not do more than 5 miles on the treadmill. WILL.NOT.DO IT. Give me 15 miles on the road over 5+ on the treadmill any day. I also ditto the response to running longer on the weekend. It's a mental thing, but I do better on weekend mornings than I do on weekday evenings. I think it's normal to get nervous about a big training run. I know there's a lot at stake for my mental game if it doesn't go well, and if it does, it's the best mental boost/motivator ever! Try and stay calm. You'll be fine. Good luck!
I agree with all the PP's that physically you can totally do it. Try to relax, put some new songs in your mix if that helps, and just focus on each mile ahead. Also, don't worry if you start to feel crappy by mile 2 or 3. Often times I focus on how tired I am early on, but if I just refocus I usually feel good as the run goes on. And -- some runs are just better than others. Good luck!
