In honor of Violet's adjusted 1st birthday today, we decided to wean. I was ready and she doesn't seem to care, like at all. ^o)
So, people who weaned, did you do anything to help? Sudafed? Double sports bra? I haven't BF'd since yesterday morning and I feel tingly but not engorged. (We were already down to 1 session per day.)
I didn't do anything but I didn't feel anything either. (Except hormonal. I feel very hormonal.)
Hmmm, I'm not feeling very hormonal about it. Maybe because I'm choosing to wean?
More importantly, I loooove your new siggy!
Well, who knows, I was a hormonal mess before weaning so maybe it just carried over haha. I am not that emotional of a person and I have cried daily for the last few weeks and weaning does NOT seem to be helping. I'm so over it. I need it to end.

Aww, Trudy. I'm sad for you. You have had a difficult few weeks and I can't imagine dealing with all of those ups and downs. What can we do to make you feel better? Maybe you need a day at the spa? Let's put Brad on baby duty and set you up for some pampering!

I can tell you what I DON'T need and that is a day at my SIL's baby shower tomorrow. Dear lord. I might bring a flask.

Hmmm, I'm feeling a stomach bug coming on for you... you probably shouldn't go. I mean, you don't want to barf all over her cake or anything.

I think this is an excellent idea. Poor Trudy!! Weaning hormones can be a bitch. Coupled with m/c hormones and that is truly the suck. Many hugs (hug) (hug2)
Ruby when I weaned DS1 (it was gradual, like you say) I didn't need anything. Boobs were a bit lumpy for a few days but no trouble otherwise. Sounds like you'll be fine

Oh, yuck to that shower! Feel free to post snarky comments here tomorrow.

I thought we had our last nursing session but then felt really full about 36 hours later, so we had one more session. He really wasn't interested and only nursed a minute on each boob. He helped me not hurt and really confirmed that it was time to be done.
