Anti-CIO ladies run for your lives! Haha.
So Peyton went down for her nap at normal time but only slept for 30mins vs the usual 1.5 hours. I have no idea what woke her up.
So I get her up and bring her out to play. But she was still fussy and tired. She didn't want to play, didn't want snacks, and wouldn't even nurse. After 45 mins of fussing and eye rubbing I tried to bring her in her dark room with her white noise on to nurse her. She still wasn't having it and squirmed away to cry.
So I decided to plop her in the crib. Where she started crying and throwing a fit. I closed the door and just waited to see if she'd calm down or fall asleep. The cries lessened but didn't vanish after 5mins. I peeked in and she was just sitting up and weeping. So I decided to get her out.
Now she is as happy as a clam. She happily nursed for a few minutes and ran off to play.
Did I just put my toddler in "time out"? More importantly, did it work? Haha. Most likely just a random happening but it was weird.

It's so funny when I see someone refer to their child as toddler now. I just don't see Christian as a toddler and maybe it's because he isn't walking. I know that they are toddlers but I want him to stay a "baby".

Ada is walking and DH called her a toddler and I gave him a death glare and he was like geez sorry, baby. So I'm still in denial too!

I'm still clinging to the baby term. Until he's actually toddling, he's NOT a toddler.
