I did a class today called Yamuna Body Rolling and it is the schnizznit. Seriously, I feel amazing and it gets into places that are virtually impossible to get with a bulky foam roller.
I don't 100% buy into all the claims of it lengthening your muscles and all that but I can't deny it got spots on my loose that I never thought would be anything other than big old knots.
I might even been able to quit my chiro and ART after this (just kidding. sort of.)

HiC - I came home with two balls. The silver one and the pair of black ones. There's also a pearl one that's used for chest and face work, but the silver can do that as well, it's just harder. The black ones are the hardest and smallest, so great for working into the hip flexors and deep into the glutes.
and boy, did that sound sexual.

I bought the balls from the teacher - each ball was $30 (but the black came as a pair.) But that's all you need. You don't really need to take a recurring class unless you just want to do that. There's tons of videos on youtube about how to roll specific body parts and there are DVDs if you want a more structured feel to it.
