First of all I'm way jealous of all the PRs today. Nice work ladies!
So I know you're all just dying to know what I wore. I ended up wearing my Nike capris because they had the best pockets. They gave us a shirt that was pretty nice but its HUGE on me so my H will we getting it as a gift.
Other Nike weirdness....we put the bags in these huge boxes when they were checked in groups of 50. I assumed we'd spend the race lining them up on the ground in order, but Nike did want us to because it would 'look messy'. We were anticipating a cluster post race, since we couldn't sort the bags but it actually worked out ok because there were like 12volunteers per tent. This included a pack of annoying teenagers in mine who would all descend on a bin trying to beat each other to find like every person's bag showed up. I admired their tenacity but it was a little ridiculous.
All in all it was a decent experience and because we had some down time during the race I saw the start and the first finishers.

LOL. Gear check went very smoothly from my perspective as a runner. I looked for you, but you must not have been near my number. Thanks for volunteering!
Glad to hear you had a good experience too! The teenagers would have been annoying, but maybe entertaining too?
They were slightly entertaining. But when they came rolling up at8:30 I was like'wtf, I thought teenagers were still sleeping at this hour'
I was at the 3000-5499 bag check on 11th.
And then there was the lady that showed up at like 9:30 to volunteer when most of the bags were already claimed....
Wines...it seemed like it was pretty easy for the runners. We had a couple of people with attitude problems but for the most part everyone was very nice. I'll volunteer for more races.
