Have you noticed it causing constipation? I read a few people online had that issue and we started almond milk this weekend and she hasn't pooped yet. She had been very regular and would go every morning so I'm thinking it's the almond milk? I hope not though because she really likes it!
Joshua had a massive issue this past week, and we were only using maybe 1/4 cup in his rice cereal. We had to start Mirilax (as per pedi) even though he has had prunes everyday this week. I'm really bummed about it. Not sure if I'm even going to attempt coconut milk. Hope she goes soon!!!

Uh-oh, I hope this doesn't become an issue for you guys. Cows milk = too much poo, almond too little..maybe coconut milk would be juuuuust right? Poopielocks.
I hope you guys find something that works for her. Don't worry, there is still coconut, rice, oat, and hemp milk, etc, etc. At least there are a lot of options.

Ugh! I know! Tonight Ian said "why can't you just have a normal digestive system?!" I'm going to see if she poops tomorrow and hope it's normal but if it's hard or she doesn't poop then I will definitely stop and try another option. My friend is doing Lactaid for her son- have you ever tried that?

I may have over dramatically exclaimed "Why can't I produce children who can digest simple proteins?? before..BUT, D has been having peanut butter for a week and that went well!
I have not tried it with H before. I'm kind of pissed at her allergist's office. I called to schedule both girl's skin testing and they were rude, rushy, and didn't call me back after taking my number. I need to figure it out the week.

I have the info at work but let me see if they are rude to me again :-). I've heard good things about the ones affiliated with CHOC. Our guy is o.k., he's in the same building as our Pedi which makes it more convenient than anything.
Butting in: Ari gets about 8 oz of lactaid a day and tolerates it great but he can have yogurt and cheese with no problems. The only small side effect is that he is back to spitting up tiny bits. It is so minimal that his pedi told us not to worry about it.
