WOW!!! She is so good! I wish my 5 year old (after almost a year of lessons, damnit!) would put his freaking head in the water lol! She really is a natural!

OMG don't tell me about it. Anna (same age) has been taking lessons on and off (at least 2 sessions (8 weeks each) per year since she was THREE. So we are finishing our THIRD year of lessons. She is still on the first level because she refuses to put her face in. She can kinda swim on her own for a few feet with her head out. I'm like JUST PUT IT IN.
Not that I am getting frustrated or anything, I am super chill about the whole thing.

and um, congrats on your little swimmed, lsea.
Do goggles help at all? L would do it, but hesitantly until I got her pink goggles.

How does she do in the bathtub?
We tried goggles. Pink of course. She says they're not comfortable. We tried adjusting. She just doesn't like how they feel I think. We will try again though.
In the bath it is full on drama lama. YOU GOT WATER IN MYYYY EEEEEEEYES. IT HUUUUURTS I NEED A TOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEELLL.
Lol, I will say we are at the pool nearly every day of the week, so living in Florida has it's advantages. My son took a lot longer to be comfortable in the water because we weren't in/around it nearly as much.
papie, have you tried goggles and practicing blowing bubbles in the bathtub? It really helped Nora when she was afraid of getting her face wet.
The type of suit she is wearing in this video was EXTREMELY helpful. Kept her afloat but still allowed free range of movement with her arms. Just another something to try.
