What was your favorite?`Did you find #5 superior to #98 for example?
I don't know. I'm not sure I have such a refined palate to be able to discern. LOL.
I really loved both Eleven Madison Park and Jean Georges. I ate at EMP several years ago, though, when it was less gimmicky. (It's like a magic show now.) I'm also biased because I think they're really nice people. Our meal at EMP was exquisite. I was really impressed, and I love their other restaurant, too -- The NoMad, which has comparably fantastic food with less fuss.
Jean Georges was the best lunch ever, but I'm also remembering how wonderful it was to share that experience with two of my best friends from college. The company made the meal even better. Good company always does.
Of the meals I listed above, Pierre Gagnaire was my favorite. It was such a dream come true. It was gorgeous AND delicious, AND Pierre Gagnaire was super nice to us! I grinned ear-to-ear the whole time!
