It is amazing outside. If you have time get down to Boston public gardens, the flowers are in full bloom! I enjoyed an awesome breakfast sandwich from Flour while sitting in the park this morning, its just beautiful out. the 10 day forecast looks amazing as well.

I'm SO GLAD we're actually getting a spring this year. I need to cram in as much nice weather as I can before my summer of work hell, and there's been more than one year that it's been cold and rainy right through June.
I know, I love it! Of course, it figures I'm going to FL on Thursday and it is going to be humid and rainy the whole time I'm there. This is why we usually go in March, when the weather is still gross here. It better still be nice when I get back!!!

Oh that's unfortunate. I'll keep my fingers crossed--for your sake and ours!--that it stays nice here!
Thx! Ooh, I just checked the weather and now they are just saying scattered thunderstorms in FL. That's better!
And next weekend is my birthday, so I really hope the weather holds up until then.

Nice! What are your birthday plans?
Not sure yet! I haven't thought that far out. H was going to try to plan a trip to NY, but I told him it was too soon after our FL trip. So I suggested dinner out somewhere nice. What restaurant should we go to?

Oh, you've seen my list probably a million times.
O Ya if you want spendy sushi Deuxave for a swanky environment + good food No. 9 Park, though 5kcandlesinthewind liked Menton better (same executive chef) and said No. 9 was loud and busy when she went liveintheville would say L'Espalier--I haven't been yet but think I will go for my birthday in the Fall
That's all that's coming to mind at the moment. I'm not a big fan of Mistral or Top of the Hub.

Yep, I definitely had a much better experience at Menton, but No 9 Park was good, too. We liked Ten Tables (Cambridge) when we went a couple of weeks ago. And Craigie, but I know we're somewhat alone on that here. (I'm looking at you, @rock-n-voll! heh.)

Ten Tables was definitely not in the same mind-blowing category as some of the others, but the food was really good. And I don't remember what wine we had, but it was so, so good. (I need to start writing that sort of thing down - inevitably, we'll have some wine we really like somewhere, and then I can never remember what the hell it was when I'm looking for it in the store, heh.)

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll send them to H.
We actually really liked Mistral when we went for restaurant week! Top the Hub was fun, but not worth the price. We felt the same about Craigie. Ten Tables was pretty good. We need to branch out in our restaurant adventures!
