How do we have no posts today?
I bought three new bottles of nail polish yesterday.
Yesterday was River's second birthday. It is a pretty big deal that he has made it to two.
My head still hurts from hitting it on my table last week. I am loving my new sewing room stuff though.
Here is a good story.
Last night after Boyfriend came home from work there were some weird kids following his car and taking pictures. He moved them car to the other side of our apartment and the followed it over there. We decided that was really odd so we ate dinner outside to keep an eye on his car.
Nothing happened for a bit and then this weird girl came around the corner and started spewing profanities at us and saying that Boyfriend was going to run over children with his driving. I basically told her she needed to leave private property and if she was so concerned about her children getting run over that maybe they shouldn't be playing in the road. She was like I'm not fucking leaving you stupid whore. I was like, back the fuck up, you need to leave right now. She was like, what the fuck are you going to do about it you ugly slut? So I picked up my phone and called the police. She walked away as soon as I picked up my phone. The police called me back and were going to just drive around the neighborhood and the she walked through my apartment again while I was on the phone with them. She proceeded to walk to her front door which I could see her walk into from my apartment.
The officer went and talked to her and she was only 14! Who does that at 14?!?! The police talked to her and her Grandfather who is her guardian. Basically that was the resolution. The officer offered to ticket her for using foul language in public but that seemed weird. I just wanted her to leave.

I didn't know you could get a ticket for that either. My sinuses are killing me too! I had to buy a baby sinus sprayer for River a couple of months ago when he got a kitty cold. I've been thinking about using it but it feels weird to use my cat's nose sprayer on myself.
Can I be Baloo? My butt jiggles like that when I dance.

Wow! at 14, I had my own issues, but they certainly did NOT include that kind of behavior!!
This morning, DS insisted on wearing his new bike helmet in the car to school... Either he REALLY likes it, or he thinks my driving is scary. I keep seeing scenes from that movie "Benny & Joon" in my head everytime I think about it.

But then I would have to leave my house and I would be tempted to eat out for lunch! I am trying to spend less money on food. Maybe I will eat lunch and then go to the store for a saline sprayer.
I got a pedicure with my mom yesterday...and the guy (who was the manager) got out honest to god power tools. Like, a sander to sand the ridges on my big toenails. The tops of the nails were all...unsmooth and bumpy. OMG. He also got out a cheese grater for my callouses. Running does not bode well for my feet. Neither does winter. Luckily I got a laugh out of it and my dad is now considering a trip to the salon because his feet are a wreck, too.
Now my toes are lovely and painted purple and all is right with the world. We tipped him big.

Gault, I empathize. I have nasty dancers feet and I have a large propensity to walk around barefoot in the summer. I bet the pedicure was heavenly though!
Gault- I feel your shame with the power tools at the Salon. When I went for my wedding a few years go the woman asked if I wanted it. I didn't really know and then she gave me this look like your feet are heinous you need this.
I have been really busy today. My boss picked me up an hour early and we've been in meetings all day. I just got back and am now wondering what I can do to kill the remainder of my day.
Yeah. There are things I am embarrassed about and things I think "meh, it is what it is" and have no pride. My feet are one of the latter. I told the guy I loved him a few times. I'm sure he's seen worse...but not much.
Also, one of my toenails halfway peeled off. He kept asking me if it hurt as he peeled. Newp, go for it.

No, running definitely doesn't make your feet look pretty. I always tell them to leave the callouses because it hurts to develop them all over again.

I got a pedicure on Sunday and the woman broke out what looked like those tools they use to sand down acrylics to use on my calluses. I would like to handle that as well as you handled yours. Hooray for restorative pedicures, though!

partiallysunny & captainmel, I think you guys jinxed me. I have had no allergy issues until this morning. I woke up today and my sinuses are killing me! ACK!
BUT someone left a latte for me in my office this morning with a note saying "today will rock!". I'm not sure who it was, but Yay for surprise coffee!!

Allergy season is in full swing here and it is NOT pretty.
PF has a nasty virus and has been home with a fever and the babysitter for the last 2 days. Poor kid is just miserable. Though when the motrin kicks in and her fever breaks she's back to being a little lunatic but with a nasty cough and stuffed up nose.
I have to plant my pea plants tonight. They're no long happy little seedlings in their current tupperware home. The tri-colored pepper seedlings have a least a week more in their tupperware before i need to transplant.
It's BEAUTIFUL outside today and I"m beyond pissed that I am stuck inside of an ugly, stuffy, stress-inducing office.

Well, the thought was awesome... It took me about 2 sips and my throat beginning to swell to determine that it was a mocha with extra chocolate. *sigh* Now I know who left it, and I am sure no malice was intended, he just didn't know. It tasted really good though, so now I'm sad I have to dump it out.
And I have a lunch meeting today that I don't really want to go to. BUT it is at a restaurant that I've been wanting to try for a while, so I guess I'll suffer through it. The food had better be worth it.
I can deal with a lot for tasty food. You will have to report back on lunch Starries.
Why can't you have chocolate?
I think I am going to use a free meal coupon for a Mexican restaurant that I have for lunch. I have been saving it for a while and I want a bit burrito salad for lunch.

Yup. Most of the time it's not a big deal and I don't usually get cravings for it, but today its kind of sad because that coffee really did taste good.
Ironically, I decided to hit the coffee stand by my house on the way to drop off DS this morning. I got a latte and DS got strawberry milk. So I had already had one. I guess it was latte day.
