Aw nice!
The lady in the fitting room at Marshalls yesterday asked me if my baby would be watched, or if it will go to daycare. *-) I told her that it would be watched by a daycare. She also told me that I should start thinking about nursing bras. Lol.
I told someone yesterday I was having boy #3. He told me we need to try a different position or something
I am happy when people get NICE comments.
Yesterday, I wasn't wearing a maternity shirt so I thought I didn't look very pregnant, but when I was riding in the subway a woman tapped me on the shoulder and told me to sit where she was sitting. I told her I was fine standing up but she gave me the look of death and told me to sit. So I sat. Yes ma'am.
People have been very nice on the subway - everyone I know used to complain about how no one would get up to let them sit even when they were very far along.

I'm no longer working, but even up to 8.5 months pregnant, I was still having tons of trouble getting a seat on the L. And dealing with people flat out shoving me.
While at the grocery store today, a woman helped me by picking up a box of cereal I had dropped, and she asked me when I was due. I told her "4 more days!" and she told me I look fantastic and that she would have guessed I was about 6 month pregnant.

That friggin' SUCKS. Maybe my usual line just doesn't have as many asshole riders as the L does.

I've seen that happy to people on the Metro in DC here.
I gave that up pretty early b/t the nausea and the general misery of my commute. Thankfully, we recently moved and I don't have that option so I don't feel bad driving every day.
I am SO GLAD that I don't have to take the Metro anymore. I was always quick to offer my seat to pregnant women, but so many people seemed to deliberately look away when a pregnant woman got on the train. I would have no problem asking for someone's seat, though, if I really needed it.

That's really sweet. I have had some really random comments. People have definitely been oversharers with me, but nobody has said anything rude to me. Oh, my one coworker did say that I was really showing and he was surprised at how quickly I popped, but he didn't realize that I didn't tell him that I was pregnant until 25 weeks or so. When I told him how far along I was, he was surprised. He didn't mean anything by it, and he's a generally good guy. I think I just walked in one day looking pregnant and it took him by surprise.

Wow, some of these comments are crazy!
I haven't got any this time around (so far!) but my last 6 weeks of being pregnant with DD I got a lot of "You're huge!" and "You're sure it's not twins?" and then "You're never going to make it to your due date!" People can be so annoying.

So far no one has said much of anything to me. My aunt did say that my bump looks like a big breakfast (I've heard that a million times actually...because I'm still small I guess) but then she followed up by saying I had the cutest bun in the oven she ever saw. Which was sweet.
The cashier at staples the other day told me all women who have boys get really wide, after I told her I'm having a boy.
But some random old man told me I was beautiful pregnant yesterday, which I am choosing to take as nice rather than creepy, even though he whispered it in my ear and gave me multiple weird stares while I was waiting in line for my lunch.

It pissed me off sooo much to see all the young, totally healthy looking people look right at me, and then pointedly go back to playing with their phones/e-readers/etc.
Towards the end, I got much better at speaking up for a seat, and telling people who shoved ahead of me for a seat that I was pregnant.
