Gear up for marathon training! June 10 makes 18 weeks til Chicago. I'm not completely sure what this is going to consist of since my knee still isn't quite 100%, but I need to build my weekly mileage back up to at least the high 20s, preferably the 30s, and I'm also trying to get more comfortable with some faster paces so quite a bit of speed work.

1) build towards a 7 mile run 2) bike 200 miles ( totally weather dependent) 3) finish duathelon next weekend 4) plan out half marathon training schedule
- Mentally prepare for my 2 double digit runs this month for training. I know I can do it but I need to not be so afraid of the numbers. - Incorporate more strength training into my schedule - Foam roll after each run - Not obsess about the scale. I feel healthy with the running and working out. I should not stress out over a few pounds if it gets me across the finish line without injury or stress. - Improve my sleep schedule as a way to reduce stress
@vtcupcake - Noooo! Don't cut your hair! It takes like three years to grow 18" of hair.
It's grown over a foot in the past year. Plus someone else really needs it more than I do
So come clean. Are you taking Biotin? Prenatal vitamins? Anything like that? Just a super mega hair grower? My hair seems to have actively been growing since September and the longest pieces are only about 3.5" long.
Also, not sure if you are doing Locks for Love or what the other options are, but the guy who made my wig was telling me that Locks for Love charges for their wigs in addition to selling a lot of the "undesirable" hair to cover their manufacturing expenses. I did a bit of research because I was curious about it and I was kind of surprised to read that it was true; the recipients of Locks for Love pay, I always thought they were free.
@vtcupcake - Jealous. I come from a long line of limp pale blonde locks. My H comes from a "good hair" family. Sadly, based on DD's baby fine white fluff at 16 months, I think she got my hair. Her cousin who is two months younger has long flowing locks.
