*Armstrong Vinyl Floor Cleaner. Y'all have to find you some if you have vinyl flooring. I used it the other day on a deep spring clean kick. My floors are so clean and shiny and it got up all the ick with just a rag. I also did my vast expanse of basement flooring with it in my spray mop and it actually really cleaned. It's awesome! It's meant for all the time use but the stuff is like $6.00 a bottle so I'm probably saving it for sometime use. It also doesn't smell bad at all. Just citrusy and not strong. But apparently this is old news. I was raving to MIL about it and she said, "How do you think I still have shiny perfect vinyl after 20 years and little effort?" Ha!
*Neutrogena Lipgloss in Healthy Blush. Great nude color. No stick. Affordable. I've been looking for a nude that didnt' make me look dead. Which is weird I'm pretty dark and olive complected...there's not much makeup I can't wear usually.
*Scrubbing Bubbles automatic shower cleaner. First I had it in our master and thought it didn't do anything. Turns out I'm the only one who showers there so it's not dirty usually. I threw in E. student's bathroom to use it up. I haven't scrubbed his shower (and he's a dirty dirty boy, dirt rings, soap scum slime from his cheap bar soap) in 2 weeks and it looks great. It needs a deep clean now but I was scrubbing it every other day for awhile. I'll keep using it.
*Archer Farms coffee. Good deal and taste for $5.00. I wrapped up in a basket as a gift and was asked where I got such awesome coffee...lol. I wouldn't probably serve it to my coffee snob friends but for everyday it's good.
Rants:
It needs to get nice. The fresh fruit sucks this time of year. It's either moldy in a day or has no taste. I've been buying frozen in the mean time but it's just not the same.
Rave: This dress from NY&CO. www.nyandcompany.com/nyco/prod/Apparel/Dress-Boutique/Etched-Floral-Print-Dress It's only $20 and super flattering and comfortable. I'm wearing it today and I've gotten a ton of compliments on it. I'd order a size down. I'm a size 8 usually and I ended up with a Small. I have one in green and yellow (looks like they're sold out of those colors online).
Schick Hydro 5 blade razors. I'm a hairy Italian, and I need to shave my legs every other day in order to not look like a walking money. I can use these everyday without irritation. Love them.
Victoria Secret lip gloss. Stays on for hours. It's a bit sticky, but I don't mind because it lasts.
I just had a facial with Eminence brand products- all organic and super $$$$$. It totally cleared up my rosacea - I never realized just how RED my cheeks were until it was gone. My face looks so different, I bought a small size of all the products she used on me. She thinks my skin was reacting to all the drugstore crap I use. I was super impressed and I will shell out the money if it helps my skin.

I should check this stuff out. I have a hard time with anything drug store unless it's Burt's Bees or Neutrogena. I get weird rashes, all flaked out, or it burns the sh*t out of my skin. I also feel like it takes tons of product where a little bit of something better goes a long way. Better product means better skin which also means less makeup so I save there.
Rubes has apparently inherited my skin too. I have to buy her high end baby soap and lotion or she gets really red and dry too. But again I've been on the same bottle of Baby Shea since she was about 9 months old and I just bought her second bottle of lotion in almost 2 years. So it's worth it to me. I had some JandJ stuff and I feel like we whipped through that bottle in no time.
the $40 digital antenna that we bought to hold us over until the cable can be installed. It gets enough channels to keep me from going crazy, and gets good reception. I think we are going to use it in a guest room and save on getting an extra cable box.
The Giada deLaurentis skillet that we bought after the movers packed the one that I had set aside for us to use. We chose it because it would work on the induction range at this house, and it seemed like a good price at $20, but it really is weighted nicely and heats evenly.
Weight Watchers! I've lost 7.5 pounds in 3 weeks! That includes 4 days OOT where I just ate whatever bc we had to eat all our meals in non-chain restaurants (no nutrition info available) and it was just impossible. It's so easy! The weight's just falling off and I'm not doing anything! I figure at some point I'll have to start exercising, but this sloth is gonna stay that way until the scale's not moving as much
If you have break-out prone skin, give this soap a try. It's done wonders for me since I went off BC and my skin went to hell. My review is the second one down when you sort by Newest First. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0053L2E1O/ref=cm_cr_thx_view
Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt (80 cals) and Yoplait Greek 100. Both have tons of protein (10 grams and 12 grams).
Rants
Final exams as a senior? Impossible to care enough to study ha.
Rave: Ricky Martin. It came up on my Grooveshark feed, and I feel everyone must listen. Yes, it's old, but it's still good in an embarrassing way.
I didn't even watch the video and I was dancing just thinking about it. lol
That song came on the radio in the car last week and DH was laughing at me 'car dancing'. My daughters and I have certain songs that we can't help bit dance to, and that is one of them.

Rave:
Meyers Basil All-Purpose Cleaner...I use it for everything and it smells so great.
The show Whitney - I've been watching it on Hulu and it's hilarious!
Rant: I have TLC's "Waterfall" song stuck in my head and I don't think I've actually heard it since 1999?!
@justdairy I'd be so annoyed if I were the one cleaning E-students' shower. I really hope my boys know how and are used to cleaning their own darn shower by age 16!

Whitney: Everyone in the internet-universe was all, "This show is soooooo stoooopid." When I enjoyed the few episodes I saw, I had to ask myself if I was slow because I didn't get the hate!
Waterfall: You have to see "The Other Guys" with Will Ferrell. Michael Keaton's character quotes many, many TLC songs, including "Waterfall." It's ridiculous.
Oh, this is a little rant. WHY can't my hairdresser cut my hair properly? I've been going to her for THREE YEARS and it's like she's forgotten what to do. I get the SAME CUT EVERY TIME! Mid-length angled bob with lots of layers on the ends to avoid triangle hair. Such a basic cut! If I weren't moving, and if I didn't like her as a person so much, I would have found someone new already. When it's right, it's really right, but when she gets it wrong, oh man.

I'm not sure why, but I had to hit the reply button at the top to see any reply after munkii. Rude, proboards, just rude!
Rave:
Not that you can take advantage, but my dentist is the bomb (yes I said "the bomb") because he helped me avoid a root canal today.
Chocolate shakes from Sonic. I work a block away and this is pretty much what I am having for lunch because I still can't feel half my face.
Rant:
The fact that I used baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to clean the grout in my bathroom and then had to scrub the rest of the floor because it was all powdery and gross. I'm very much an "exact measurer" type and the whole "make a paste" instructions stumped me because I think my paste was too thick. Though, my grout is cleaner, I spent 45 minutes on my hands and knees in total cleaning the floor which, I'm sure, was promptly peed on. (Thanks Monkey!)

@justdairy where do you buy the cleaner? Another question as long as I paged you, how much would you say a typical very rural Midwest high school graduation gift should be? My cousin in rural Iowa is graduating and I am out of the loop. Is 20$ going to make me look cheap? (My parents will give a much nicer gift, fwiw).
I just finished scrubbing our rental house from top to bottom (you could eat off of any surface n that house, yo). I used the ceramabrite cleaner and scrub pads that are meant for glass cooktops on everything. They got gunk off the white cabinets, they cleaned the sticky crud off the stainless steel appliances, they got tea and coffee stains out of the stainless steel sink, they got crud off the laminate floors that was on them when we moved in. It was amazing.

I bought mine at the local small town grocery store..lol. I also know it's at Menard's, Lowe's on Amazon and at floor stores. It's in a regular clear bottle like dishwasher soap comes in and is blue in color. It's really obvious.
As for the gift, $20.00 is the going standard around here for people like cousins/distant family/neighbors you associate with and wouldn't make you look cheap at all so I say you're fine. $50.00 is really generous but common, $10.00 is more for people you hardly know, kids of kids you once knew etc. but is on the cheap side. I'd say where I live is comparable to rural Iowa and $20.00 is the norm here.

Meh. It's not that big of deal to me and I do it by choice. I don't get worked about much in the clean house world, but I have big time issues and high standards on bathroom cleanliness. So while all of my E. students can actually clean a shower whether or not they do a decent job of it and often enough for my liking is debatable. He also shares the bathroom with our weekend guests so I like knowing I did it and it's good on any given day.
His room on the other hand...I don't even want to talk about it. It looks like a frat house down there beer bottles, dishes and all. It's a bit of an issue this week. I don't care at all how clean their room is in terms of clothes making the bed etc. but the beer bottles bother me. H and I like to drink a bit too sometimes and E. student's free to do so but a) this isn't a frat house b) there's a kid in my house and I don't think it's the best example for her. We had Come to Jesus about the dishes. I hate eating outside of the kitchen/LR area but I compromised. He's free to take his food downstairs but the dishes need to get back up ASAP. And he has to wash them if I've already finished dishes or the dishwasher is gone. I don't want 3 day old dishes sitting on my counter either. Also, I fear ants and bugs. I told him if I saw a bug anywhere near his room he'd have to pay the exterminator bill.
Yes, I know I sound like his mother and kind of b*tchy but dude..I get you a nice room, free food and take good care of you...show me some love in return!
It's also hard for me because while my H won't take up dusting and organizing anytime soon..he's not at all messy/picks up after himself etc. Hell, Hs bathroom space is cleaner than mine. So I'm just not used to it at all.
Rave: command picture hangers. I know I'm late to the party on this one, but these suckers are great for people like me who tend not to measure very accurately
Ge slate appliances: we finally got them last week and they look awesome. Dd has been rubbing all over them a d there is not a fingerprint in sight.
Customer service rave - build.com. I've been very pleased with their ordering, shipping and changing orders

I second the rave about the NY&CO dress. I just went to the store and got one in black. Very comfy and flattering. It is a little big on me but I'm hoping it shrinks a bit. If the ON dress I ordered in pink stripes doesn't work out I'm going back to get the pink and white print one.
Do you mind sharing what, specifically, you used? My face is always red from rosacea and it makes me crazy. Otherwise my skin is good, but the redness won't budge.

Rave: revlon photoready makeup I love this stuff it's only like $7.50 a bottle and it compares to make forever stuff. It's my new everyday makeup. It does have a little sparkle in it if that bothers you. Nyx stay put stay matte powder it helps me not get oily during the day
Rant: century link Internet service it's crappy and slow and we can't even run all our stuff on it and now since I'm out of my contract they raises my bill $20 a month I don't want to sign a new contract and I don't want to change service since we likely be moving so it sucks to pay $60 a month just for Internet. Plus we are paying Internet for DH temporary housing.
It's still bothering me that I have to hit reply to see all this stuff. @patrick?
emoflamingo - I think it's because of the embedded video. I'll check on the mod board and see if anyone else has reported the problem. What are you using to post (browser, device?)

She used a blueberry mask that had paprika in it; it got hot and my face was pulsing. It restores proper blood flow she said. She also used a scrub called stone crop with pear and poppy seeds in it...there were a bunch more products but those two I remember for sure.
Woolite stain remover with Oxy in a spray bottle. Works fantastic to spot clean carpet.
Maxwell House Iced Coffee single serve packets in Iced French Vanilla. $1.99 for six. Just add it to a glass of milk and, voila, iced coffee that's super yummy. Sometimes I want something quick without the cost of Starbucks and this is so good. It also has only 4 ingredients!
Rant:
I just got my hair cut yesterday and I hate it. I think she game a a mullet. This is my second time going to her and the first time I LOVED my hair. I'm not sure what happened. Depressing, especially since I paid $48.
Raves: Lululemon cool racerback tanks. Still long enough to cover my giant bump at 38 weeks pregnant and shrink back to their normal size in the wash.
www.thecabinetauthority.com - DH didn't have time to make the doors for our kitchen cabinets. These guys had them made and delivered in less than a week, they are beautiful, and weren't as expensive as I thought they would be (they're black walnut).
Beach Bungalow Frame Company - I ordered two of these for mini vic's nursery and two for our front hallway. They take a bit of time to get here but are gorgeous. Plus they send salt water taffy with every order.
Rants: Stupid whirlpool dryer that's less than 10 years old that requires 2 dry cycles to do its job. I hope the dryer in the new house outlasts this one. I'm tired of taking laundry over there to dry.
Vic1011 - is your dryer vent packed? You may not even be able to see where the lint is, if you haven't sucked it out in awhile it could just need to have all the lint sucked/blown out of it. I don't mean the vent in the dryer but the tubing that goes from the dryer to outside your house.
I don't think so I pulled out all the tubing and sucked it out with my vacuum a few weeks ago. Dh won't let me on a ladder to check of the outside and is too busy to do it himself. I think it's te heating element - it's not always hot I I pull it open mid cycle.
