You are unlikely to find support/experience for detoxes, cleanses, etc. on this board. Posters here are generally advocates of eating real food in healthy amounts and exercising their way to a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Your liver and GI tract "detox" your body for you. You don't need a special process or product.

Thanks for the response, I appreciate someone replying
That is the issue- my body isn't doing its job (gallbladder isn't happy) and I want to keep my parts. I do try to eat clean, so I am not looking for an easy quick fix or weight loss fix. I am skeptical about the detox, which is why I am asking for experiences.
If you've got medical issues impacting your health, talk to your doctor and see what he recommends. If he wants to do surgery and you aren't game, get a 2nd opinion, see if it's really warranted for your circumstances. Be proactive about your health.
Cleanses and detoxes aren't any better suited to managing symptoms than they are to helping people magically lose weight and keep it off, without addressing unhealthy habits.

If you already eat clean and you have medical concerns, then I would think that you would be an especially bad candidate for a detox (which I think is not a good idea for anyone.. That's why you have a liver, kidneys, etc.)
Gallbladder issues can be a challenge. I assume you are avoiding spicy and fatty foods already, are you following an appropriate diet for your condition and still having issues? Is your weight healthy?
there are so many places to start to address this before doing something that has no support from the majority of the medical community and that could potentially make your situation worse, not better.

I am seeing a nutritionist/chiropractor. I am doing a decent job at avoiding fatty foods and alcohol, I could be better. I am also looking at the detox as a way to cut out things and then not bring them back (yes, I know that sounds crazy, but I am not sure I can cut things without a "reason" ) I have cut out dairy. I am not a fan of processed foods and avoid them when possible. I stay home with my girls and enjoy cooking when I can.
I am (per BMI) a healthy weight. I would like to tone and drop more (2 kids under 5) and am starting to work on that area.
See an MD. I had gallbladder issues for several years. I ended up with emergency surgery in September. Not saying that will happen but I don't think a chiropractor will help gallbladder issues.
I have seen an MD re: gallbladder. They gave me suggestions (diet and yanking it out) and also sent me on to a nutritionist. Sorry, the chiro isn't specifically for the gallbladder, it is just something we talked about while I was there for other issue.

My sil had gallbladder issues and was trying to avoid surgery as she was uninsured. Her dr. gave her a cleanse (basically eat a bunch of certain foods, and avoid others- nothing totally nuts). It worked for her, and whenever her gallbladder starts to get cranky again, she does the cleanse for a week or two and it fixes it. Now, that may not work forever, but she has gotten a couple years out of it at least. Might be something to ask about (or google about).
