I am working the wall above DD2's dresser and want to do a combination of frames (some empty). I have played around with a couple of layouts and would love your opinions.
This is the wall it is going on:
This is the wall above her crib. I want to carry over some of the butterflies to the gallery wall.
For the oval "fancy" frame, I thought about putting her initial in the middle using the coral gingham fabric from the bedding as a background (very tiny microgingham) and white mini butterflies.
The yellow picture does not have to stay (it will stay in the room somewhere as it is sentimental).
I am seriously not married to any of these layouts so any and all ideas are appreciated! I am going to have to run out for a bit, but I will be back later this afternoon to address any questions.
ETA: Please excuse the poor picture quality. They were taken with my ipad and it distorts proportions when in zoomed out mode (and the colors really are prettier in person!!)
I like the layout of #1, but it feels unbalanced because of the dress and photo in the upper left corner, and no photos or anything substantial in the lower right corner.
Lurker chiming in: I like #3 since the centered frameless butterflies add a little bit of breathing space to the frames. ;-) I think flamingo's suggestion makes it even better.
Hi I am new here but I came across the name Adelyn(my LOs name too) and I had to check it out anywho I like the first and third it will look great either way im sure!
