All this time I have been trying to draw in a crease and make it look right. My friend told me to trust her and did my makeup by just making my entire lid one solid color that compliments my eye color.
Up close, it's not as impressive, but when I back away from the mirror, my good kind of disappears and my eyes look really blue. I found this to be amazing. She adds a corner color to up the funky factor, but otherwise, it's just one color. (Or a mix of colors together but applied uniformly)
Anyway. Thought you might want to try it out and see.
This is how I do my eyes too. I'm rubbish at trying to put color in the crease and then it ends up all over the place anyway 15 minutes later.
good point. I was trying to build a fake crease on my fatty hood. it was just all wrong. Funny how it's easier to see if you just let someone else do your makeup in a different way.
For every day going to work eyes, I do something similar. One color all over. But then I smudge my eyeliner out so it ends up fading from dark at the lashes to light.
I don't use a crease color either. I use a neutral beige color right under my eyebrow, then an all over color. Stilas kitten and bubble are my go tos. Then I typically put a slightly lighter shade in the corners of my eyes. I'll occasionally add the same all over color on my bottom lash line. I also recommend using a loose powder to put under your eyes while applying your eyeshadow. I put a pretty heavy dusting then after I'm done I just sweep it all away. It will keep you from having eyeshadow under eyes and on your cheeks.
