I have nothing as interesting but I really dislike odd numbers. They all seem evil to me.
Not that they all seem "evil" to me, but there are several jerk numbers that happen to be odd.
3 is a sore loser crybaby 9 is an asshole backstabber 6 and 13 are bullies
1 is like All-American guy next door 2 is really generous and kind 4 is just boring and homely 5 is like the moustache twirling cliche bad guy 7 is a princess 8 is the funny fat kid
This makes me think of that memory book I was reading of which I STILL forget the name. Something with Einstein. ANYWAY. It is all about old visualizing techniques for memorizing things, and how you place objects that symbolize whatever you are trying to remember in a visual soace in your head.
I CAN'T DO THIS. THERE IS NO VISUAL SPACE IN MY HEAD. I mean, they say to use an actual space, like your house, but even that is way too big an effort for my mind.
All of you people probably have much much much better memories than I ever will. The only way I have of memorizing something (like a phone number) is to repeat it a million times in my mind. I am so not visual.
Fuck, don't quote me the time that I make an egregious typo!
ha. i was just confused by your comment. i mean, it's a thing. like having brown hair. i didn't see anything saying it was correlated to intelligence or something.

It just made me laugh. It was funny in my head, lol. I picture everyone responding like the dude in A Beautiful Mind :-P

Someone related it to gifted musicians and mathematicians before.

ETA: MOONWALKING with Einstein. I remembered! lol
Quick! Spin-off post about how people remember things! BEFORE YOU FORGET.

ah, i see.
i wish i could respond like him. economics makes no sense to me. pareto superior? KISS MY ASS.
You know what I can't/couldn't do? Those stupid GRE logic things.
Paintings A, B, C, D and E all need to be hung on the gallery wall, but you can't hang A on Mondays or next to D. YOu can't put C up on the west wall next to B, but E can only be hung on the east wall on Thursdays next to A. Purple.
i see the season/months loop, too. like right now we're on the right side near the top, about to start looping back towards the left for summer months (most of june/july/august) and then september starts looping back downwards again.
For me, we're down towards the bottom right, getting ready to enter the loop for summer, back around to the left, which then goes upwards from September on.

That was me. It can help with memory - people who can memorize large pieces of music or large numbers (such as pi) see the music and numbers as colors, or within a spacial plane. It's not a sign of giftedness by itself.

I do none of this. Months are months, numbers are numbers, words are words. No colors involved. My visual memory is crap though. I am a much more auditory and kinesthetic learner.
January. May. September February June October March. July. November April. August. December
You go down, loop back up, then down again, loop back up, then down and back to January. I remember that this is how the months were on the wall in my first grade classroom. It has stuck since then.

WTF???!?
I love these. I actually have an app on my phone so I can play them whenever I want

my worst nightmare
I'm really bad at telling my R from my L, so if I'm giving someone directions, I have to subtly tap the corresponding shoulder, so I know for sure I'm telling them the correct way.
I dropped out of Algebra Geometry because I couldn't "see" the angles. But ask me to pack a million things into the truck of a car, and I will make them all fit with room to spare.
That has nothing to do with colors and numbers, but I can't see math, but can see concrete things. Like I can put together a dresser without instructions, etc.
I'm not making sense. Just read what I wrote as pretty colors.
