- Foster mom (stay at home, no outside work so I could focus on what the kids need) - Run an animal sanctuary for alllll kinds of animals (except snakes, because well, just no) - travel host, like I would take groups of kids on trips around the world
Something where people highly valued my opinion/knowledge/experience but that required little actual work. Like a film critic. I would have one kick ass home theater.
Dog walker, or maybe run a sandwich cart. Except I would not want to take a cut in pay or be self-employed. And I would want those jobs to send me to conferences around the world, which is probably unlikely!
What I'm starting to do (which feels awesome), train women after pregnancy to get their bodies back. I finished the first week of my fitness workshop and, as expected, the hardest part is actually keeping them working because we end up talking so much! I'm a "girls girl" and have an easy time connecting with other women, and adding in the mommy factor just makes it. It's like an instant moms group of support.
ok - so tell me what to do, lol. i dislike working out, and do not belong to a gym. AND go!
Read my blog! Lol. It's all about short, high intensity workouts you can do at home and while the baby's occupied or napping.
Strength and cardio intervals are what will give you results.
If you have a half hr only, the worst thing is to just peddle away on the elliptical.
I want to do something with babies - either help place babies into adoptive families, or be one of the people who go into hospitals and give skin-to-skin to sick/preemie babies, sings to them etc. This might be because I'm addicted to the "new" baby smell!
A traveling food critic/personality. Basically I want Anthony Bourdain's job. I would've said chef/own a restaurant, but I don't want those hours or that stress, so I'll take the easy way out.

Published writer(more than just one book of poetry), music therapist, and librarian. I want to do a lot of things. I still would like to be on Broadway.

"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny
I would love to be able to be a SAHM. Seriously, that is all I want and is all I've ever wanted. I've never really been career driven and in the last few years have been really looking forward and hoping that this would be a reality for our family.
If I had to choose something to do outside the home, I'd be a midwife or doula. I'm looking into becoming a certified doula and might actually do it and open my own business. There are very few here in SLC surprisingly.
Travel writer. Not for guidebooks, that's too harried. Freelance stuff. I actually have a friend who quit her job and has been doing this for 10 years. I'm jealous.
