Greeeeat. I am also trying to eat light/healthy, I hope I can!
Their grilled chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus is divine. I get a house salad with the house dressing, too. If you do not want the mashed potatoes, they will sub other veggies. NOM NOM NOM!

Mav, it's an Italian chain. They can be hit or miss. DH has had amazing scallops at one of the locations we frequent due to my allergy. I have a feeling the location and clientele play into that one being good since it's in a very nice area with great shopping nearby.
If you haven't gone, they can easily sub and subtract things. They're one of the few places that does gluten free for me. I get the Sicilian Chicken Soup without the noodles since I'm allergic, but cutting those would cut some serious calories since it would mainly be broth and veggies with a little bit of chicken. They are also good about letting you get lunch portions at night too at the locations we've been to. That might be something to keep in mind.

I wish I could do more local places, but so few are willing to take on the liability of gluten free. Cheesecake Factory won't do it and I really don't miss it. The food is ok at best and the cheesecake is only good due to the variety. I've had better at local places and make better at home. The waits and screaming children also turn me off since there is always that combo for ambiance.

Mav cheesecake is not really that great! haha. I'm not a big chain person, though, either. DH thinks I'm kind of a food snob... but I like local places.... much more unique and usually much better food!!
I'm also going somewhere to dinner I'm not excited about. BOOOO HOOO!!! If I were going to carabbas I'd just order a salad and get grilled chicken on it.

Ditto this about CF. We also don't enjoy chain restaurants, and much prefer local cuisine and independent restaurants.
I did end up ordering a Cobb salad (with bacon and cheese on the side) with grilled chicken on top. It was actually quite good, but you really can't go wrong with Cobb salad.

I remember the grilled chicken always being good there!! Glad it worked out!
I'm contemplating quickly grilling myself a hamburger before I go to the restaurant tonight.... just nothing on the menu appeals to me except a boring caesar salad...
