Provided the weather channel isn't lying and the rain is supposed to stop by Saturday pm, I am hell bent on the following:
Rototilling the veggie garden beds to get them prepped for planting
Spray painting the bed outlines on the west side of the yard in preparation
Killing the grass in said beds so we can dig it out next weekend
Weeding. Because it's been so effing rainy, we have weeds everywhere.
I had wanted to thatch and aerate the lawn, but we're just not going to have enough dry time to do that. It's going to be difficult enough to get it mowed.
Ditto spring clean up (never ends!). Finishing our fence extension project - 7'4" - try getting in now deer!
Tweaking an arbor that's too narrow (may recut the header), planting clematis at the base of the arbor. Planting two American bittersweet vines I got in the mail.
Buying and planting veggies Weeding flower beds (I hate this job!) Moving hostas- I want to move them from all of the flower beds to along the back fence. Finish the landscaping around our new pool
This is a pretty ambitious list for me, lol. We'll see how much I actually get done!
I live in the city and only have a community vegetable garden (which is probably more than enough for me - lol!). So going over tomorrow to check and see if any seeds germinated. Should probably plant my leeks. Might head to the store and get some plants for hanging baskets. Last weekend I put my cool season seeds in (broccoli, mache, fennel, arugula, lettuce, peas, beans).
Still pretty chilly here though. Its past last frost date but...I think it went down to the upper 30's at one point last week.
Well, today was a productive day. We finished the Spring clean up in the back yard (20 bags of leaves are now sitting at the curb), got up 5 HD orange buckets of dandelions up from the back and 2 from the front, grub killer in the yard and watered in (trying to not have moles and ants destroy the yard this year), sweet potatoes put in water to get slips, and tubs prepped for potato planting tomorrow.
Tomorrow will be another day outside working in the yard. Trying to see if the vinegar trick works on weeds on our patio, planting seeds in the garden, cleaning up the front yard and maybe starting some more seeds (carrots, beans, etc.) and beginning the hardening off process of the stuff I already have started.

Sat I cut down all of the grasses and did some cleanup.
Today I need to rototill an area for a new bed, and plant the 2 Arborvitae that have been hanging out on my porch. I also need to get the large tomato/pepper area in back ready since I'm picking up 6 heirloom starts from a local Nestie. I have something like 60 other tomato/pepper starts of my own coming, but they're not all ready yet... (No, I have no clue what I'll do with them all yet)
Also in the to-do in the next few weeks: Demolish a falling down metal shed so it can get hauled away, kill what I thought was sprouting grass in the front (sigh) and then re-seed front lawn, transplant a couple of small lilacs, severely prune/remove 3 large ones. I think every weekend from now until I die will involve cutting all of the overgrowth in the yard, and hopefully getting it in a chipper before our neighbors freak out.
