Very nice! I ordered the knock off and may do this. I was on the waiting list for the factory one for 3 weeks and the ship date kept changing so I cancelled.
They look good! They are even simpler than the factory version! I like it! ebay has the factory version for $49 so I guess I could order this and modify as needed for much cheaper!
Ok so how did you do this? I really like this a lot, more than what I ordered. LOL
I took some jewelry pliers (needle nose would also work) and just opened up the o-rings to remove pieces. I just sort of started with the two furthest out and went from there, checking the size and weight as I went.

I am definately going to try this when mine come in. And make the earrings too. YOu ladies have given me such great fashion ideas. As I've told you before, my neice, 10, says I'm the best dressed of the family! Pha ha ha ha ;D
Ok so I ordered the earring findings in gold, had to order 100. HA So if any of you ladies wanna try this pm me your address and I'll gladly send you some (when they come in).
Love the idea of the extras for the earrings! I may need to do that on occassion (I have minimal jewelry making experience), it seems like I could always reattached the bubbles to the necklace if I want it bigger again, right?
Yes, you can easily re-attach the bubbles if you want. I would just be careful about how much you handle the o-rings with pliers b/c some of the gold can rub off. It was seriously like a 10 minute thing max to do.
