When did your baby transition from several short naps a day to 2 longer naps? I don't mind grants little naps, just wondering when he will probably begin to change his schedule...
7-8 months or so, even now she still sometimes will take three shorter naps (DD is 10 months) but around 7 months she started consolidating naptimes. The morning nap is still just one sleep cycle but she usually conks out for at least an hour and a half in the afternoon.
We're on a good eat/play/nap schedule. And he sleeps 7-8 hours at night... So I am totally fine with the way he sleeps... He can take mini naps until he's 3 for all I care, as long as he sleeps at night!
Right now he eats, plays for 60-90 min then sleeps for 30-60 min.

Did it just happen naturally? Or did you have to do some sleep training to get her nap schedule changed?

DS has been taking two longer naps with the occasional late day mini nap since he was around 5 months old. He is almost 8 months now. He gets up between 7-8, first nap from 10-12(ish), second nap from 2:30/3-4/4:30, then goes down for the night around 7:30/8. He sometimes takes a little nap around 5:30 if his other naps have been short or if he gets up early and everything gets pushed up. He usually still wakes up 2x a night. Once around 10:30 and again between 4-6.

Same here, 7 or 8 months (he's 10 months now). He takes 2 naps, usually around 2 hours each, and around 12 hours at night. At 6 months he was not STTN and was taking 3-5 mini naps a day. No sleep training, he just figured it out, although I did stop nursing him during the night when he hit 6 months.
