Hmm, didn't think about that. Obviously if the model is taller the waist would come lower on you. In that case you might have to get that altered to come up to sit on the right place too. Now I am not sure if its worth getting with all the alteration needed.
wait, its not a dress. I just looked again and it says skirt only.
What? No beer for your horse? Enjoy the wine! I don't have any wine at the moment and am too lazy to go some right now. Might send DH to get me some though.

House, you only get beer for horses when you get whiskey for your men.
I like it, but as someone who has several maxi dresses and skirts, I find that styling the skirts gets more difficult than the dresses. The best part of the dresses is that you throw it on, statement earrings or a necklace, slip into flat sandals and you have a look. I find that I have to work a lot harder with the skirts since they have the weird waistband that needs to be covered or exposed, usually adding a belt, and finding the right top to wear with it.
Loft does petite maxi dresses that may work well for you since you may not need to hem it and you get the benefit of just throwing it on. They have this one online:
I also got this one in coral and cream at J Crew's Factory Store and like the drawstring waist since I can blouse the top more and shorten the skirt. I paid $35 since it was on clearance and there were several colors:
I've got this Splendid maxi skirt/dress and it runs really short. The slit is high if you wear it as a dress, but since I do that for the pool it works great. The waistband/top also folds pretty flat:

No problem! The bottom one is seriously 4 inches shorter than the non slit version even though it claims to be one inch difference. I have them both on the same hanger and there's a huge difference. I like the drawstring ones since they can adjust easily and you can hide the drawsting with a belt.

Sounds good. We do have a Loft so I should head there.

I know Loft Outlet had a ton of maxi dresses in petites last summer. I haven't been in latley, but it's another place that's worth a shot since they had almost every style in a petite. The prints were also very good. I got a white with navy, jade, and purple floral that's not boho at all.
