Our wedding bands are really cool too. We don't have them yet, but we've ordered them. Matching bands, titanium with a wooden inlay, custom-made. We found them on Etsy of all places, LOL. I won't be able to wear the band and the engagement ring on the same finger, so once we're married I'll move the engagement ring to either my middle finger or my right hand, haven't decided yet.
So yeah, the surprise wedding is basically our way of avoiding having to plan anything. We've both been there, done that and have no desire to repeat it. So we're just going to have a bonfire at the house and then, "Surprise! We just got married!" No ceremony. Neither one of us wants to stand in front of people and make a spectacle. His mom is actually going to marry us (although she doesn't know it yet, and won't find out until that day).
I am totally getting married in jeans and a t-shirt and I couldn't be happier. :-D

We're doing it in September. We both love the fall. Now we just have to manage to keep it a secret until then! So I'm wearing the ring, and the hysterical thing is that pretty much nobody has noticed yet. If people do, we've decided to just say that we haven't finalized plans yet. The only ones that we're expressly keeping it secret from is our parents, because we really want them to be surprised (we're evil that way). So we're taking his mom out for lunch on Mother's Day, and then I'll actually move the ring to the other hand, because there's no way she wouldn't notice!
