I have some already but I figured you guys would come up with something I forgot. I already called the electric company and the city for water trash and sewer averages
I called the electric company and they told me a 12 month average and the water was online on the city page
I'm totally hijacking your thread, but was it for a specific address or just an average for the area?
In my county you can call for a specific address and get an average bill amount and usage for the past 12 months. I've also asked for a specific month before to see how summer differs from winter. I find it slightly creepy they give out so much information, but its very useful!
I'd ask about maintenance issues: how quickly do they respond, do you have to cover small repairs under a certain amount, who's cutting the grass, what do they do about middle of the night emergencies?
Find out their policy on lockouts. I lived in an apartment complex and I found out the hard way that they don't do after hours lockouts (ie. when the leasing office is closed). I got locked out on a weekend before a holiday. I had to "break" in otherwise I would have been waiting 2-3 days to be let back in or pay for a locksmith.
