We like to go out as a family sometimes to a local store for ice cream...we have a favorite flavor that we can't find in grocery stores. They don't always have it; they have about 16 flavours but they are always rotating. When I was pregnant I wanted that damn ice cream so badly that I cried once when they didn't have it.
Last night we were sitting at a table, eating our ice cream when a lady came in and bought a giant tub of ice cream, those huge ones the ice cream parlors use. My jaw dropped and I made Dh go ask about it.
So we are now the proud owners of an almost 3 foot tall tub of Triple Tornado ice cream. Its actually brilliant, because it was $40, and we spend $8 for the 3 of us to have a scoop of ice cream, so it's much cheaper this way. I just feel like laughing when I see that giant tub.

(high5) Great idea!
I'm starting to feel overwhelmed and like I've taken on WAY too much at once. Right now, in the next month, we've got to finish two bathrooms, the upstairs guest bedroom, the floor trim (which should have been done WEEKS ago), and a TON of painting. I've also got two girls' weekends, a 10k, and a 1.5 mile OWS, so I'm training/at the gym/pool constantly. Ugh.
Last night, All Star by Smashmouth came on my pandora and I found myself dancing around the kitchen and singing along loudly. R was all "uhh, thanks for the concert" and he was UPSTAIRS IN HIS OFFICE. Ooops. This has made me decide I need to do a 90's workout/run mix on my mp3 player.
I buy the Starbucks iced coffee by by the case at Sam's. It's still spendy but I enjoy it and only grab one a few times a week. I've started leaving them in the pantry and only putting them 2 at a time in the fridge or just one in the freezer quick when I want one. E. Studnet loves them too which is fine but he'll drink like 6 a day if they're available. I've been left sad to many times when I opened the fridge to find them all gone.
It's not really about the money. I just don't want to share.
At least he learned not to leave the empty yogurt boxes in the fridge...lol. Toddler had a meltdown of epic proportions when she saw the box one day and there was none left.
My boss is getting fired. I'm 98% sure of it. Freaks me the heck out because I've only been at the company a little over 2 months. Learning curve just skyrocketed. I have no right to judge because I'm not perfect. But honestly, I would expect more from someone at her level. It's kind of humorous to see my co-worker a little amused by the whole thing. I don't celebrate anyone getting fired...at ALL. But she was was anxiety inducing due to her lack of time management. Big time.
I'm debating learning a new style at dance and my coach will either balk at the idea or embrace it. My husband says, "Go for it." I'm thinking it's just a late quarter life crisis on my part...and I don't care.
DH and I are in some serious discussions currently on the kid front. I'm on my period right now and that's not helping. I'd kind of like to "use that card" to explain my behavior this week..although I think it's legit. He's got some legit points so I'm kind of backing off.
My CW keeps talking about the fixer-upper that he wants to buy. He has huge plans but I'm finding it annoying. I don't think he realizes how hard it is to DIY a bathroom, flooring, etc.
His inspiration is Y H L - I also find this annoying. I'm probably being irrational.

Nothing exciting here today. I'm off work since I worked the weekend. I went to hobby lobby to exchange and return somethings so since I drove to town I walked around TJMaxx, Lowes, and Target and looked at lamps. Now I'm home being crafty and getting projects done which is nice! DH is headed to look at house to rent in about 30 minutes. I'm kinda scared I asked him to take video and lots of pictures he laughed and said I'll see what I can do. I also emailed him a crazy list of questions I know he won't ask the lady. I just have a feeling we will need to sign on the property without me seeing it. At least it's landscaped so the outside is cute.
I'm sick of people complaining about weather whether. They'll complain it's too cold now and too hot in July. It drives me nuts!
Totally. We had a recent snow (nothing significant) and people were FLIPPING out. I get that people ready for spring, but soon it will be October and people will be crying because it's still 95 degrees. Wahhhhhhhhh! I have pre-op for my breast augmentation tomorrow. I'm so excited I could scream!

Say wha??? I think I want to do something similar after another baby....well, a just a lift maybe. Good for you!
The Bump has to be the only place on the planet where bathing your kid in J&J or store brand soap is a CPS worthy offensive. It's like a badge of honor over there to tout use Honest Company, Dr. Bronners, Mustela or hand milked a goat and churned the milk into unchokeable purely organic heart shaped soap for your child.
Dudes. I use some Suave on her that didn't work on my hair. Whatever soap strikes my fancy at the store...usually whatever's on sale. Sometimes she gets the good stuff, sometimes not.
Merida: I had that taste too. Carnonated water or a half a Dr. Pepper seemed to help a lot. I usually had a nasty headache with it.

Dairy- we use the target knockoff J&J, Gasp! Honestly, I had a bunch of mustela. Man, it is so heavily fragranced that I couldn't stand it and donated the unopened.

That's just it. I buy Burt's Bees sometimes and really do like it, but the stuff I'm "supposed" to be using is so full of chemical smell that I can't handle it and fragrance doesn't bother me at all. We had some CA baby and my H who is scent sensitive freaked out about it if he happened to get in the shower after her bath so I stopped buying it. Whatever they put in that stuff can't be much better than whatever everyone got up in arms up about J&J about.
