My dog always curls up in my spot on the bed, with his head on my pillow. In the winter he pushes back the covers and climbs in, which grosses me out but he's too cute to scold. Usually.
In the Winter, Willow not only wants us to pile up the pillows on the couch just so she can sleep on them, she also expects us to cover her with a blanket. Sniff sniff. Smell that? Yup, that's the smell of a spoiled rotten dog.
When I lived at home, my parents had a black lab/shepherd mix. When they would go to work, they would open my bedroom door so he could come upstairs with me because he had separation anxiety. He would start by laying at the foot of the bed where he was SUPPOSED to stay, and by the time I would finally roll out of bed he was laying along side me on a pillow like a person.
I'm not pregnant but I think I should get one of those for Renzo anyway. He would looooove it! :-)
She goes there EVERY night when it is time for bed and I have to make her move. I'm sure she's all, "Come on mom, let ME use it tonight!"
Lacey does this too. Though now she usually ends up sleeping in between H and I, or between my legs, so that she can put her head on my pillow still. Stinker.
Peloton loves having a pillow in addition to his bed. We started giving him one when he was really sick in January and he now has his very own bed pillow (along with a bed & blanket in every room!
