Dude. This is one of the biggest concerns in raising my 4 year old. DH and I are both "nervous" about this aspect. I'm going to work on him from a young age to understand technology and the impact that it can have on our lives, and clearly the role of social media.

Yeah, this is one of my big concerns as well, as a parent. I don't consider myself technologically savvy/up to date right now and it's still going to be about 10 years (fingers crossed) before he even gets into the social media/texting garbage. Who know how much it's going to change in that amount of time?
I'm terrified of having a daughter. Sexting anyone? Do you know what these kids/young adults do with that information now? Don't ever go through a bad break up or all your photos will get plastered on soft core porn sites.

O.k. now I'm having a nervous breakdown...
We're one and done, so at least I don't have to "worry" about having a DD. BUT I will damn well be teaching DS about respecting woman and if any girl ever sends him naughty pictures, he better delete that shit and NOT forward it to his buddies!
