After all this talk today. Just 3 miles on the treadmill with my ON compression crops and I can't do it! There was way too much friction going on down there, it was not comfortable.
Those of you that run commando, was it something you had to get used to??

It felt weird at first, but I've never had a problem with friction...just too much freedom for my liking. I alternate...depending upon my mood and what I have with me if I'm away from home.
I can only go commando in bottoms that have a built in liner. I can't do it in my ON tights.
Agreed. I can only do it in the ones that have the cotton crotch thing. I'm totally that woman who inspects the crotch of workout clothes in the stores.

I'm a crotch inspector too. They must have a gusset if they're tight, or a liner if they're loose. I don't need a poorly placed seam all up in my lady business.

Oh man, I once went commando on a run in a poorly placed seam pair of pants and I was dancing the whole way through the run. Lean to the left, adjusting, lean to the right, hiking them up, pulling them down, omg it was awful and I looked so foolish!
Um yeah. I'm not gonna get into detail, but nope. I can't do commando. Not even with compression pants or the shorts with "built in underwear". I just rock a granny panty line! I don't give a crap!

Honestly that is my only beef with my ON compression capris...I love everything about them, especially since they've fit me with minimal muffin top throughout my pregnancy, but they did chafe in an area that I hoped to never ever chafe on longer runs so I have to wear underwear with them.
The ON crop has the gusset but still I was just feeling way too much. I have no problem running with LLL shorts with the built in liner. Maybe I'll try it out again with the LLL WU crop and see if that feels better. If not, back on goes the undies!
I tried running commando in tights and had to stop my run early. It was not working for me. I'll stick to my briefs. I don't wear anything with my running shorts, but they have a built in liner. I don't consider that commando.

this. Panty lines be damned. Though if I wore run shorts that have the liner/briefs in them, that would be different, but I hate shorts, too much leg chaffing!
I have ON tights and they were awful when I tried going commando with them. Maybe ON just has really bad seams or something? Maybe I should try again with a different pair.
