This looks so, so good.
I can't remember the backstory - did you hire someone to do this or do it yourself?
My front yard is an awful jungle right now. I am so sad and embarassed by it but not quite sure what to do. It looked like a BEAUTIFUL garden when we first saw the house which was mid-june of 2012. But the entire front yard is all beds and plants and ground cover. I am not sure what is a weed to pull, what is supposed to be pruned, etc. Plus it is still kind of full of leaves from the fall...yikes. I am sure my neighbors all hate me.
At least I have one kind of nice hydrangea out there.....
Oh, it looks great! My azalea died. We need to redo the landscaping but know nothing about it. I want perennials that will flower and have color but can stand our very dry yard and require little work. Any suggestions?
PS. rikki, yours looks great too! What did you plant in the pots? They are so pretty!
Rip out everything but that last picture. Before you do, hire a landscape designer for an hour to get some ideas. Then bribe me with beer and pizza to plant and mulch for you
Looks awesome! My H and I are just so not into gardening. My parents give us a hard time everytime they come out to visit but all I really want to do is rip everything out and have grass. We have these awful evergreen bushes though there is this really nice flowering bush that is currently starting to bloom. It's hot pink and light pink flowers. It's the only thing I like about our front yard. I don't even want to get into what a mess the back yard is. lol
