Target opens here in a few days --- are they a good place for underwear??
I usually shop at victoria's secret or la senza (which is basically the same as VS) but I have been unimpressed. All my bras are ripping in the center between the cups, and the straps are those ones that you can criss cross or take off or whatever, and the fabric loops that the straps hook into are falling apart. I've also had a couple of wires snap on me, so I think I want to shop somewhere else this time. They also seem to make their underwear smaller and smaller, and with less and less stretch. I have not gained weight but last time I bought underwear I had to go from L to XL and I discovered that they don't put elastic at the waistband anymore.....sooooo not comfy when your panties don' thave stretch. WTF.
I'm not one of those people that needs to spend $$$$$ on my bras, cheap is good But I also want something comfy, with good support and some pushup. Or lots of pushup.
Yah? Nay? And if it's Nay, then recommend your favorite pushup bra that is NOT cotton from VS so I can order some new ones from there. Their website is overwhelming and I don't have a store to try them on.

I'm no help with bras because I have no choice but to spend $$$$ on bras (my size is uncommon and so I usually spend $70 a bra or so). However, Target has pretty good underwear. I buy cheap underwear, just because no one is going to see them and I am usually pretty happy with Target.
Once upon a time I was loyal to Gilligan & O'Malley boyshorts. They're seamless, come in fun colors, are comfy, but in the last year or so the quality has turned to crap. They fall apart very easily and ravel. Boy, do they ravel. Stay away from these!

I like the bra selection at jcp quite a bit. This might be TMI, but I usually gravitate towards the mega-push-ups (since I don't have a ton going on in front). I have these for everyday and I like these for special occasions/dates/etc.

I'm with you I usually shop VS but I haven't bought from them in so long. I have been buying some jockey underwear at the outlet. I really like the feel of it.
Do you have JCP? I really like Wacoal seamless and the Warner's t-shirt bras. They're also like less than $19.00 so not too bad. Wash good, hold up good, give me good coverage and support without all the ridiculous extras I don't want. Downside is they only come in like white, black, tan so nothing fun.
Target is okay sometimes...they just don't last long for me. Also, my chest is just avg. sized but it's fairly big for how petite I am...so sometimes the Target ones don't have enough cup coverage.
I could take or leave underwear there. If it's on clearance I'll grab some but I don't go out of my way. I usually just buy that at TJMAXX type store.
I really do love the C9 sports bras for exercising and working on the farm. Great value for the money.

wacoal is a great brand and i didn't even realize they had it at jcp. i got mine at macys (and of course ended up paying more). so, i'm thrilled to have read this here.
i will also add that it was a brand that was highly recommended during Oprah's bra special shows.
Peach - you are Canadian, right? I just got two new bras at La Senza - $50 for the pair, lots of 'ummph'...the difficult part was trying to find a plain black and plain skin colour one...they have so much shit with jewels and zebra print all of over it. I also find their undie sales worthwhile.
I looked at our target and tried a few on but nothing fit right.
