Quick background. I've been going to the same hairdresser for at least three years now. I love her, she always does a great job and we're even friends on FB.
I got a haircut last week and for the life of me, have not been able to get it styled the way she did. I messaged her on FB today to see if she could give me some pointers and also to ask for recommendation on a hair straightener (I need a new one). She messaged me back and told me to make an appt. with her next week on her and she would trim it a bit, apparently the length (right on top of my shoulders) is causing it to flip out no matter how much I tried to curl it under.
She normally charges $45 for a cut and I tip her $15. Since she's offering for me to go back (no charge) for a touch up, how much should I tip her? $15? Is that ok?
If she has to fix the problem, I wouldn't tip if it only takes her 15 minutes. You already tipped her but were not happy with the cut. If she gives you an entirely new cut, I'd tip the normal amount.
