I sold my In Step double and need a single replacement. I never ran with the other, we will use mostly for the beach on the weekends and maybe the occassional run with my two year old, budget is $150 which is why I am ruling out the Bob (for now). Any other good ones to check out? Thanks!

I have the baby trend double jogger, I've ran with it for over 2 years now and it has worked out perfectly for me. I love the tray because during the summer my girls eat breakfast while I run.

I would also recommend looking at Baby Trend joggers based on your budget. I have the single Baby Trend jogger ( I got it as the stroller system - carseat, carseat base, and stroller for ~$200 almost 4 years ago). It's holding up well, I don't have complaints running with it, the front wheel can swivel or lock in place, and I definitely love have the built in tray especially when I'm using for the zoo or just going on walks.

I've had my double Baby Trend for years so I would rec it as well. They also have great customer service. My swivel lock kept coming undone while I was running and they rushed me a new front wheel assembly free if charge when I called to order some replacement parts to fix it.
Thanks ladies! I should also note that I'm stalking craigslist for a bob in the meantime or if there are any others that may be pricier if new but less on CL

Don't get a Jeep. We had one with chronic brake issues. Sold it, got a BOB, and never looked back. Sounds like Baby Trend is a decent option. Definitely stalk CL!
We've used a BabyTrend Phantom Jogger since DS was 18mo old; he'll be 5 next month and it still works for us. I've trained for three marathons with that sucker and love the storage options it has.
When I was researching strollers, the Schwinn Tourismo came up quite a bit as one that got good reviews. I was looking at doubles though, so maybe it varies.

I'm pretty sure mine is the Expedition. I don't remember them having a ton of options in the doubles when I bought it back in 2007 and that name seems familiar. If it came in tan and orange, then yes. Helpful, huh?
Is the In Step single not a good running stroller? I have the In Step double and really like it. I guess I've never used a BOB or any of the other more expensive strollers, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

No, sorry, it seems like I was implying that! I had it for beach weekends only in the summer and never used it to run last year, now that my five year old is done with the stroller, we sold the double and need just a single. I figured if I am going to get a new one for the beach I want to get one that is also good to run with in case I decide to take my two year old with me on early runs
I have a BT double & it gets the job done. It's smooth & the canopy moves to lots of different positions. My biggest complaint is is there isn't a tray & the brake is on each wheel instead of one long bar. My brakes are hard to get back up.
I found a Bob Revolution for $210 in good condition and includes the top console on CL, I think I am going to grab it, it seems it is worth the investment and stretching the budget a bit right?

Definitely. If you like it then yeah, I think it's worth the extra $60.
