The bikes are a little different from spin bikes. Theres an extra piece that adds to the resistance from the water (thats as technical as i get lol) im sure its great if you have joint issues. They are really creative with how the use the bike to do other things. Overall though, its strange. Itll be interesting to see how long it stays open, its in a very pricey neighborhood so i imagine their rent is $$$$ and the class was pretty empty (even still, it only holds 15). But yeah, i figured id try it, i was intrigued for sure. I doubt itll be the next big thing in fitness, as that video,suggests lol
Looks interesting. I would love to take DH for this. He used to ride 20+ miles a day but because of knee issues he can't ride anymore, but he used to love it.
The resort my mom works at has bikes like this for the indoor pool. I am not sure if they have a spin class since the resort is mostly 55+. The bikes are interesting though and a great workout.
