Hey I'm trying to pack for my 4-day trip I've got on Tuesday. I hate eating airplane food and in the airport. I like the idea of a salad in a jar but don't really know how to do it. I've googled it but some say to vacuum seal it which I'm not really into. Mainly because I don't have a vacuum sealer. I think there was a thread about it here but couldn't find it.

There's a thread or two here on mason jar salads, so maybe do a search for those words? I know if you google that or look it up on pinterest, there are lots of ideas. Have a great trip!
No need to vacuum seal. I do them in mason jars and they stay fresh for a week. As long as they stay cold they should be fine. Dressing on the bottom, toppings in the middle, greens on top. Just be sure the dressing doesn't touch any lettuce.
