I think hanging skin is more of an issue with extremely rapid weight loss. I've lost 70 pounds and do not have a problem with loose skin other than my stomach from having three kids. And even there it isn't noticeable unless I'm in the plank position.
I have lost 55 pounds and don't have any loose skin. I also have a ton of stretch marks all over my body, but they are from when I was a teenager so they are all silvered out.
I have lost 40 and no loose skin. Still have tummy jiggle, but quite sure because I still have 15+ to lose to be back at my fittest shape ever which still isn't skinny. I have stretch marks on my thighs that are mostly silvered out, nothing is going to change that.
I've lost almost 80 total and have no real lose skin, though I do a ton of strength training so I know there's more muscle there than there would be otherwise. My stomach is still quite jiggly and I think will end up being loose skin in the end but not a lot.
I notice a little sagging skin in positions like Plank, but that's about it.
My plastic surgeon says it has to do with rapid weight loss, genetics, and a bit of luck. I lost 70 pounds slowly over several years. I had saggy skin. My skin had lost all of its stretch. Luckily, it's recovered as the years have gone by but will never be tight. I finally gave in 4 years ago and had a tummy tuck to get rid of it on my mid section. I still have some on my arms, but it looks ok as long as I lift weights and keep my arms toned.
I lost about 45 lbs and have hanging stomach skin. However, that's probably from kids *and* the only time I notice it is when I'm in plank or pushups. So whatevs.
