I have never worked so FREAKING hard on a weekend to accomplish/complete so little. LOL
We started like ... 10 projects and finished only one. *sigh* BUT there's not a lot left of most of them, so I'll be able to PIP finished projects (and whole ROOMS) soon. We spray painted the hinges for the bathroom ORB and while I was at it, we took down some ugly early 90s light fixtures from our living area and I spray painted them too. We got new glass for them at an antique store, so they're DONE, and R already put them back up. They look awesome. We went to Ikea because they finally got the porch rugs I wanted back in stock, and while we were there we bought curtains for the kitchen. So now I need to paint the kitchen asap so R can put them up. Then ... I put a coat of primer on that dresser I spent last weekend stripping. I'm still trying to decide on a paint color for it and I really want to put the bathroom one step closer to together before I decide. Also, we ripped up the old linoleum in the upstairs bathroom and R put new down. While he's at it, we're replacing the old nasty trim in that room and regrouting part of the bathtub. Today I need to paint so that he can put the toilet back in. Uhhh, I also sanded and primed the downstairs vanity. Plus I mowed the yard and R cleaned some magnolia leaves out from next to the house, which was just ... amazing. We filled a 75-gallon yard waste can with them and next week we'll fill it again - just with LEAVES.
My kitchen lights were installed (along with some rewiring) on Friday:
I also ordered this faucet:
We also clean out the upper cabinets in my mom's kitchen and got rid of about 10 boxes. Next time we visit, we'll clean out the base cabinets and hutches.

We worked a ton on the garden. It's going to be amazing. Like, I don't want to oversell it, but magainze worthy! I'm so stoked! I'll definitely post pics in a few weeks (we have some more work ahead of us).

DH was home for the weekend! He hasn't been home in 3 weeks. Two weeks ago I went down to see him so it was wonderful to sleep in our own bed together--best nights sleep since he moved! We went to NFM on Saturday and bought a nightstand to match our other one. When we originally purchased the set we only bought one because we didn't have room for two. We are considering purchasing a king size bed soon so our headboard/foot board will match our set (yes, we love these to match We were excited to hear that NFM will delivery to our new area for $84.99! They typically have the best prices around. Sunday was super busy with family time since we are moving everybody wants to visit with us before we move. So we had lunch with my family and spent the afternoon with DH's mom. We also sold our patio set last night. We decided we didn't want to move it. It takes a whole truck to move the patio set so that will save us a bunch of room. I'm dreading moving. We have found out that nobody is able to help us. insert crying here At least my mom will help me pack everything.
I graduated! In my Martha Stewart fashion, I spent allll weekend cooking for Saturday night's celebratory dinner and Mother's Day brunch. Some really, really great food this weekend! And I didn't gain any weight, either! (That may be the best part lol.)

Yard work here. I also got the dining room completely unpacked on Friday, if you count that as part of the weekend.
We didn't get anything finished. We dug out an existing front garden bed, planted some seeds, and divided some irises. Then we started digging a new front garden bed to put all those divided irises, as well as some daylillies that I got from a friend, in. I am going to hopefully get a whole big giant addition to the front garden beds done throughout the summer so that by fall we are ready to plant three sour cherry trees, so that they can get established by next summer.
I DIYed some curtains for DS #1 lower bunks. He was super excited!
I am what I would consider a clean hoarder. I dont have trash all over the place but every closet or drawer is crammed with stuff. This came in handy when I decided at 9pm to make the curtains. I had enough fabric in my "scrap" drawer and an old wooden curtain rod from a closet we removed were both used. I did not have to spend a single $. Those are the best projects!

asdfjkl - did you swim Nationals?? AWESOME! What events? How did it go?? (this is one of my bucket-list events, even though I'm not really a pool swimmer. But I need to take a winter and work on flip-turns first.)
