Uh yeah that's wrong. The nerve of your friend. She can't decide to keep them now. I would tell her that's too bad she passed on them and that if you decide you don't want any then you'll let her know.

WTF? I don't think I'd be friends with this "friend" anymore.
ETA: I saw it's your older sister. LOL, that might be something I'd do to my sister... But tell her to shove it and give them back. I certainly would if my little sis said something.
I don't know that it would be a deal-breaker in a friendship, unless the friend had other boundary issues (as this is what I see trying on the clothes, after you had claimed them to be) that I couldn't deal with.
I feel like sometimes we wouldn't be friends in real life. I can't dismiss her because she is my sister. But I wouldn't allow my friends in real life to be able to treat me like that. It sucks, but it's not always like that.
Agreed. And I thought it was your friend and was outraged. But your sister? I have a majorly douchey sister that I let a SHITTON of stuff slide. Because she's a douche..... and my sister. I really avoid her, though. I think she might be the devil.

I forgot about the family dynamics at play here. Ugh, I'm sorry what a shit thing to do. If I were to do that to my sis, it would be funny and a half joke, not another way be an asshole.

I should say that I would probably let my sister get away with this with little fight, for keeping the peace purposes. She has gotten away with friendship ending things* before, because I'm tied to her. I do keep her at arms length, though.
*not that this is necessary friendship ending, but maybe
