What should I do TIP? It's beautiful outside and it's going to get hot hot hot starting tomorrow. I am so sore though because I ran 5 miles last night and lately I've only been doing 3-4. I can't resist the nice temps though.
I wpuld say go for a walk and jog a bit if your muscles can tolerate it, but don't push it. That way you'll at least be outside.
It is supposed to get to fucking 93 degrees here today. No running for me today.
93 degrees??? Snow and hot. Ugh.
I think I maybe will take the dogs for a walk at lunch to loosen up my muscles and if I feel better, I'll go for a light run after work. I could also wake up early in the morning (it'll be a cool 53 degrees) and do it tomorrow, but that eliminates birthday lovin' from DH when I wake up.

If your muscles loosen up, definitely enjoy a light jog tonight! I'm in the triangle, and my morning jog was delightful! It was all the sweeter knowing how warm it's going to be getting...

Go for a walk with your adorable foster puppy!
I did my exercise bike last night for 45 minutes. Mostly because ML made me feel ashamed (I think it was last week they had an exercise poll) for only doing 30 minutes when they all exercise for an hour.

I didn't know you were in the area. This morning was beautiful for a run. I will be heading out after work, the dog walk helped a lot.

I still need new shoes. But I might venture out for a good walk if the weather holds. It's currently sunny and about 70 degrees, but yesterday it was pouring and cold. The rain's supposed to return this evening and continue on till the weekend. So I guess I'd better get out and do it while I can.
DS and I had a "dance party" in the living room yesterday while H was at the neighbors' house, that's exercise, right?

Congrats to all the runners today! And yes, DL, I'm a transplant from the "snow belt" of NE Ohio. I moved down for grad school, picked up a husband while I was at it, and haven't left yet. After (yikes) 10 years, I still think the summers are ridiculous and have been loving this cool spring.

Haha your story is similar to my own - I moved here for grad school (NCSU) ten years ago from Boston and decided to stick around.

I haven't even been able to start. I'm running on an average of 3.5 hours of sleep a night for the last month. what I HAVE been doing is taking a 30 minute walk several evenings a week.
Muddled I am way behind. I don't know why but my motivation went out the window. I am so tired all the time. I was hoping to be ready to do the Electric Run later this month but there is no way. I need to get going again though, I'm already signed up for the Warrior Dash in September. I'm so tired of being tired!!
