So I always fill up our truck at pretty much the same station. It's on my way home from work.
So it was a Thursday night I filled our truck completely up because I was headed to DHs the next morning. I drive to DHs and I noticed my gas mileage going down and down we don't think too much about it because we were in the hills. So we ran it empty almost before filling up which was good. Come to find out after I get home my friend filled up her car the same night a couple hours before and her car wouldn't start come Saturday!
So whoever filled up the main tank put diesel in the tank instead of gasoline!!! Luckily for us it didn't do much to our truck but company had to do an insurance claim and they have paid out $25000 in reimbursements and repairs. We are getting reimbursed $78!
Crap! My cousin filled her VW diesel with unleaded once out of old habit. Yeah, that was pretty much the end of that car due to the cost to fix it.
That's a high price for the individuals, but super bad for the company that did it. Not only are they probably liable for the individual cars, but also have to pump that tank and refill. A whole tank of lost revenue. I wonder if it's really double as bad and they put regular in the diesel tank?

Whoa. Someone in H's company accidently filled one of the work trucks with diesel and it ended up costing them 2K to get it fixed. I hope no one's car was really messed up like that in this case.
Yeah...you might want to have your car looked out just in case, there is a major difference between the two, it is definitely worse if it sits for a while and you are using it for a longer period of time but it could very easily have caused issues with your injectors, fuel system, etc. You don't want to overlook it now because your car is working and then be SOL once the problems do surface.

We pretty much used the tank in a day and half and I have been adding fuel injector cleaner in every time I fill up. We have a friend of the family who's a mechanic I'm going to double check with him.
