@therealmc, I am not an 80's movie hater! Most of my favorite movies growing up were 80's movies. I just didn't like this one. Or the Breakfast Club. That one was like, eh. LOL. *prepares for angry mob attack*
OMGaaaaaaahhhh!
I'm hurt and wounded. It will take me awhile to get over this.
hahahaha I'm sorry!! Can we still be friends? I promise I'll never bring up my dislike for certain classic movies again.
Hate big fake talons, not a fan of french either especially with talons. I paid a shit-ton for my wedding (I paid), my parents pitched in $1k, and Jeff's parents paid for the rehearsal. I wanted a big wedding, will never do it again like that. Love Ferris.

I don't think Angelina Jolie is a hero for having a double mastectomy. There are so many women who have to go through that same process but struggle financially to afford the first surgery. Many cannot even afford the prothsetic breasts to make them feel better, let alone having the top surgeons in the country re-construct her breasts with implants. It's financially difficult for most women to take the time off of work to have the surgery and recover. If she came out of it looking different or having any other financial sacrifice, I might consider her a hero. I'm not saying what she did was easy.
I agree with the fake nails. Even the plain French manicures are too much for me. So many of my students have them. It is ridiculous.
I also hate the term FML. After hearing my friend's friend rant about it, I get why. He had cancer, and unfortunately didn't make it. He was out and about and heard it. He replied to the person, "no, FML. I have cancer and I'm 23!"
Love Ferris, but I love Girls Just Want to Have Fun with SJP and Helen Hunt more. S/o fun facts and Helen Hunt, the movie Pay it Forward with her, Kevin Spacey, and Haley Joel Osmet was filmed at my high school when I was a junior. It was cool.

I appreciate the fact that she made it public. Breast cancer was such a stigma for so many years and I think some of that still exists. For such a huge symbol of beauty to come out and make public that she had her breasts removed (which to many people are also symbols of beauty) is pretty brave and I applaud that in doing so, maybe it will be easier for the next regular woman to go through it without shame.
I used to think people getting professional photos was crazy, what a waste of money! Until I received my disk of professional photos. And since the disk contains over 100 photos, its really only $2 or so per photo! that is what I am telling myself.

This isn't that bad. The places I was looking at were like $300 for a disk of 10 photos or something. And then if you want family to have them, you have to pay to print them.
You know what I'm against? Plumbers. We had to pay more for a plumber to spend twenty minutes in our house yesterday as we did for the photography. And that's just the tip of the iceberg apparently. Seems there is a lot wrong with our toilet system (**insert more details about stuff like that here blah blah I don't know anything about toilets**)
Sometimes I fervently wish we did not own our house and were still renters. Ah the free and easy days of throwing money away on rent. "hey landlord? shitters broken again" **off for cocktails**
My UO is that I think it may be the cutest thing in the world to feed the baby breakfast on the couch while she plays on her fake MP3 player toy. She's like a tiny person then!

Yeah I will still have to pay for prints, no idea what that will cost probably a lot. She recommended mpix.com but I'm afraid to look at the price of prints!
The reason I went with this photog is she charged 250 for the shoot, including the disk of all high res images. I knew what would happen otherwise is I'd end up buying the disk no matter how much extra it was! After I looked at the disk there is no way I could choose only 5 images. I mean there are some with the whole family, just matilda, matilda and the dog, and even a few of hubby and I alone. I needed to have all of them!
