We used the vinyl planks in our last house in the basement, so I am somewhat familiar with them.

Our current house is on a slab foundation. The tile in the kitchen and foyer were installed when the house was built, and they've cracked badly as the house settled. Down the road (like 10 years or so) we will rip all of it out and install hardwood, but it's a massive and expensive project.

So my question is... has anyone tried installing Allure over existing floors, especially tile? Tell me about the process.

The previous owners installed it, but we have it over two levels of linoleum. I don't think the installation process is that different from installing over slab.

We installed our upstairs allure planks over existing linoleum tile flooring.

It's been installed a little over 2 years now, and we haven't had any issues!
