i'm outraged that you went all "we all look like number 12" in the growth hormone post but managed to skip the hemangioma removal thread altogether.  

Yeah, it is a really arbitrary line, and I'm not sure myself where to draw it.  The height thing, especially when applied only to boys, just seems a little icky to me.  Maybe it is the gender difference that makes it so.
