And I had to talk to myself all the way to work this morning....I do not want an oxygen tank at 50....I do not want throat cancer.....I do not want to miss out on meeting my grandkids.....whew! Once I get to work, it's a non-issue, and I go through the day and evening without much of a problem, but that ride in is tough. 30 days!!! <)
DH quit too and I think we are going to treat ourselves to a really nice dinner out with some of the money that we have saved.
My dad had 2/3 of a lung removed (and almost died on the operating table) and still sneaks a puff here and there. My mom "is not addicted" yet still smokes a cigarette or two a day. It makes me rage.
I've been smoke free for 5.5 years and I don't even think about it unless I'm watching Mad Men, lol. Hang in there. The day will come when you'll go a whole day without even thinking about a cigarette.
