I don't understand how deleting an email address from your contacts (if I understand correctly) would change anything? If that person has your email address, he/she can still contact you via email. Does she want to block someone?
The why is probably something that will make no sense either.
yes. this will be shortly followed by redirecting all mail to a PO box, cancelling cable, keeping the gas tank always 3/4 full in case there's a global electrical outage, paying for everything in cash, and putting fake names on all magazine subscriptions, if any.

Yes. And tracking the fake names to see who sold their name where.
Seriously though, it does make me concerned.
honestly, my grandfather did all of these things in my and in lucy's posts as his alzheimer's got worse. except he added cable back, eventually, so that he could watch bill o'reilly.

Given the drinking and this it sounds like she has a mental illness and is self medicating with alcohol. First step is Rehab like yesterday, the counselors at a good rehab will eval for any mental illness issues and direct her to help from there. Make sure she signs that they can talk to you it may be hard but you need access to the info so you can keep her on track after treatment.
This sounds like something my dad would say and I'm pretty sure he's paranoid delusional/psychotic and he self medicates with weed instead of booze. Sorry Scotty.

Ugh, I'm sorry. My mom is also an alcoholic, and it's getting worse as she gets older. I generally don't answer the phone after 4-5 PM because I know any time after that, she's wasted. I made the mistake of answering the other day and got a long guilt-trip tirade about Mother's Day. It's exhausting.
