I've never been to Vegas. We should get there in about 3 -4 more hours. What should I do? Where should I eat? Anything I should see? What should I avoid? Which casino do you like best?
Don't say you like everything. That is not helpful. LOL.
I don't know what normal prices are in Vegas, but nothing over $50-$75 per person. I have a lot of allergies. So a place that can work with that. I can't have dairy, gluten, eggs, or honey. We are going to Cass Di Amore for the reception after the wedding.
Where are you staying? How many days? Budget? Do you want to drink, gamble, shop, see shows? Give us more details.
We are staying at a timeshare. We will be there from Friday-Monday. Not sure on the budget. Depends on what it is. All of the above. FI drinks more than I do. I don't really drink a lot. We are going to a wedding on Saturday. I'd like to see a show.
Wear comfortable, BROKEN-IN walking shoes. This is the best advice you'll get. Nobody cares what's on your feet but you. You can't even begin to imagine the amount of walking you'll be doing.
Repeat to yourself, "Just because I can see it doesn't mean I should walk to it." Yes, you can see the Rio and the Palms from the Strip. No, you shouldn't walk to the Rio or the Palms.

I would be panicking if I was headed to Vegas and didn't have anything planned out. But that's just my obsessive planning personality. H and I LOVED the show Absynthe. It's really raunchy, but very hilarious. Recycled Percussion is a really fun show as well. Burger Bar and Strip Steak in Mandalay Bay were both super amazing. Strip Steak might be a little pricey, but it's very very worth it. I can't speak to how well they can accommodate allergies. If the Excalibur still has the Titanic and Body Worlds exhibits, those are incredible. Have fun!!

We were just in Vegas over the weekend and pretty much everywhere we ate was under $100. Our two favorite places to eat are Diego (dinner) at MGM and Mon Ami Gabi (breakfast) at Paris. We eat at both places every time we go because we enjoy them so much. We ate at Burgr at Planet Hollywood and were very impressed. We also usually eat at the buffet at the Wynn for breakfast because in my opinion it's the best buffet there (we don't eat buffets outside of breakfast because my husband isn't a fan of them outside of breakfast). We ate at the Caesars buffet for breakfast this time around and everything we had that wasn't made to order was barely luke-warm, it was awful.
For shows we've seen "O" (which is by far the best in my opinion), Le Reve, Mystere, KA, Zumanity, and Peep Show. I wouldn't recommend Mystere or Zumanity, but any of the others are great choices in my opinion.
There are plenty of things to do if you don't have time to see a show, and not every show runs every night, so take a look at websites before you get your heart set on one to make sure it is running the night you are free to see it.
Oh, if you have time try to go to the Bellagio to see the fresh flower set up in their atrium. It is a butterfly house right now and it was wonderful.

There's also a half-price ticket booth near the middle of the strip (if you were walking from Planet Hollywood towards MGM). Not all the shows are there, and obviously they're not great seats, but I'd check it out if you're going to be there a week.
3. Check out Fremont St (downtown) at night. Very cool music and light show.
4. Bellagio fountains and conservatory. This is one of my favorite hotels to walk around in.
5. Plan where you want to eat by the area of the strip you'll be at. You don't want to make a dinner reservation at MGM Grand if you'll be near Treasure Island in the afternoon etc.
