I just got back from DS's book reading ceremony

And it was the cutest thing ever. 100 first grade students all received medals and certificates for their Books and Beyond program. The entire first grade read just over 10,000 books total throughout the school year. I am so proud of this achievement. The only downside is that DS went to give me a hug as I was putting his medal around his neck and bam! split lip. Man, that kid has a granite head lol
