I would sit in there. I don't understand how silence would be disorienting or maddening? And, I can't fathom that even if it is super silent, how blood flowing can be heard? But, maybe I just have a poor imagination.
I'd totally be willing to go in there and be proven wrong, though!

So, lol. I told my H about this and he's all "oh, an anechoic chamber?" And I was all "whut?" He's an appraiser and he appraised a building that housed a company that makes and tests hearing aids, so he went in one. He said it was quiet :-P. He did not go crazy...or did he?
Also, I don't get it. Because, wouldn't any deaf person go crazy by this logic? And I really don't get why quiet is disorienting, either.
