You give me hope because we plan to move to chicago and drive back to the east coast a few times a year. Is it horrifying?
We did an overnight drive from Chicago to central New York, G slept most of the way, but we were exhausted. It wasn't terrible but I would prefer to fly (we had to drive since we took our dog with us)
What is your favorite thing about Layne right now?
Hmmm...I played a lot of sports as a kid, and danced, so I don't know if those would be considered hobbies... I used to make those woven pot holders, and I did a lot of braided bracelets and such. I had one of those plastic cases with all my different colored strings
ETA: my favorite thing about Layne! Lol. I love the little nose crinkle he has when he smiles really big. It's so adorable.
Sports definitely count! And I used to love to make string and gimp bracelets too. Ahhh, those were so fun.
LOL about you forgetting about the Layne part! Don't worry, I won't tell him. I look forward to seeing the nose crinkle when we meet next weekend!
We just did a 12 hour trip to Mass. over the weekend--well, technically 2, one on Thursday and one on Tuesday. Arent' they fun?
What's the best place you've ever visited and why? What's the worst and why?
And I totally read your girl name list: Lucy, Olive as "I Love Lucy."
Haha, Olive Lucy, too!
Btw Kat, I'm driving through Ohio now- hi!
Hmm, best place we visited- probably Miami. I loved that city, beautiful, lots of fun, and we got engaged there! Worst, maybe Mexico. My SIL had a destination wedding on a small island. It was a lot of fun don't get me wrong... Great food, we had a fun time, it was just SO oppressively humid and hot. Ugh, I was constantly drenched.
And you didn't stop and say hi? I'm hurt. Out of curiosity, are you driving on 70 or 80?
I bet the wedding was in the summer. We went to Vietnam during the summer, which is the rainy season so it was humid every morning and we had downpours every afternoon, but even those didn't get rid of the humidity!

We are driving via 80. About 440 miles to go! Haha. We pretty much take the turnpike the entire trip. It's any easy drive, just long.
Yep, the wedding was in June. Very very hot. Blech.
Well if you ever end up taking 70, let me know, because that goes right through Columbus.
